Rishi Kapoor was asked that whether this legacy was burden to him and does he feel he has successfully carried away the family’s history to the future he answered ” I gave indian cinema all my life, for more than about 55 years and now you have to tell me whether i have accomplished it or not” Man with actions and not words.

 Rishi kapoor’s first big screen appearance was in the song “Pyaar Hua, Iqraar Hua” from 1955 release Shri 420. He was three years And then he  played a young Raj Kapoor in Mera Naam Joker.He won the National Award for Best Child Artist for his work in Mera Naam Joker. Did you know? Rishi kapoor once stated that he was landed in Bobby by default. There was a misconception that the film was made to launch him as an actor. The film was actually made to pay the debts of Mera Naam Joker. Raj Kapoor ji wanted to make a love story and he did not have money to cast superstar Rajesh Khanna in the film. So story was converted to a teenage love story and Rishi kapoor was casted. And there started the amazing journey of this veteran actor.

Rishi kapoor’s last movie was ‘Body’ co staring Imran Hashmi.

Born in September 1952 , Chembur, Mumbai. Legend took his last breath in April 2020 Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai. In 2018, he was diagnosed with a form of cancer .Although, the 67-year-old actor was admitted to the hospital and after 2 year long battle with leukemia, he passed away.

In the year 2007, Ranbir Kapoor made his first bollywood debut with the movie “Saawariya” alongside actress “Sonam Kapoor”. His stunning acting made him to win a filmfare award for the best male debut , for this movie.

In the 2011, Ranbir featured in the movie “Rockstar” alongside beautiful actress “Nargis Fakhri”, his commendable acting earned him a best actor critics award at 57th Filmfare Awards.

One of the most favourite movie of Ranbir Kapoor is “Barfi”- he played the role of a cheerful and enthusiastic deaf- mute, afterwards he received two consecutive awards for the best actor at Filmfare!

In 2009, he did amazing acting in the movies like – “Wake up Sid” and “Ajab Prem ki Ghazab kahani”, these movies got a huge appreciation from the viewers.

Ranbir is really an incredible actor and he proved that by performing the hardest roles, his expressions are so real that one can feel the character. Ranbir Kapoor is one of the flawless actor with amazing skills and versatility in the bollywood industry. The passion he has for acting is really energetic.

He turned again his versatility in 2018, where he did the biography of Sanjay Dutt in “Sanju” movie. Sanju hit the screen, and it was really a blockbuster movie. Ranbir Kapoor did justice to his character in this movie and he was really perfect choice for this role.

He starred in several movies, and no doubt he always portray commendable role in every character. His acting in “Ae dil hai mushkil” movie was remarkable, although the movie was flop but his acting made the audiences stunned.

And, in 2013 “Ranbir again stunned every audience by his amazing acting in “Yeh jawani hai deewani” movie. In this movie Ranbir Kapoor showed that he is more than just a pretty face and definitely it seems, that he has inherited his father’s acting skills. He did a stand out performance in “Yeh jawani hai deewani” movie.
