Bappa Moraya Re..
Remember having the goosebumps moment by festive vibes? And that excitement before going to bed to wake up early because we knew we were going to have a blast for a week! And as soon as September arrives we Maharashtrians could think of only one thing!!!
- Bappa for bhakts.
- Modak for foodies.
- Miravnuk for dance lovers.
- Holidays for students!

And more than anything corona has messed up we feel worst for our Ganesh festival. Now we have to sit back home enjoying virtual Aarti and eating modaks (this time eat few more expressing sadness over corona!)

Here are few things we are gonna miss the most!
1.Vibes!!!

The crowd, the music, the air, flying colours and vibes!! Everything felt different, our body felt instant pick up and we felt like dancing like no one’s watching. And Bappa coming home every year feels like he is the most awaited guest of the year. (Also mummy will tell us to sing infront of him and for the first time we will happily sing for our guests!!)
2. The josh!

How’s the josh??? High??? Nahh highest josh of the year!! We beat drums with all energy we didn’t utilize whole year! We just forget everything else and step into different world of positivity and enjoy our fullest. We leave behind sorrows and start getting involved in the Mahol!! We would miss our dhol pathaks though!
3. Visiting our favourite places.

Remember chik motyachi maal playing in the background and we capturing perfect moment in our eyes despite of the crowd!
4. Creative decorations.

Roaming with friends and checking out creative decorations was our favourite part!! Also clicking lots of pictures and struggling to see the decoration standing between the crowd…(We would miss our feet being chopped!)
5.Ghar ke kaamkaj!

Staying up all night for decorations and then waking upto see we created something epic and also being praised by mohalle wali aunties!!! Did you buy that new light this time?
6. Which idol?

We would also miss fighting with our siblings about the idol we want to buy and which decorations to light up! (Also catching our small sibling forget the aarti and just lipsing in wrong way!)
And also that last aarti and instantly feeling sad about all this ending and we have to wait a year long for this! We really feel bad when we see empty space of bappa in our house but we get heart full of happy moments and bag full of memories.

And the most important thing we would miss is dancing at visarjan on that loud somg , with Ganpati bappa moraya Pudhchya Varshi lavkar ya slogan!(also coming back to home being gulaabo!)
Hushh!!! Major missing now..but all we can hope for now is bappa will bring positivity and ray of hope in times of corona and everything gets normal till bappa arrives..till that Ganpati Bappa Moraya ya varshi patkan ya!!!
