ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: a want or a need Part 1
What is artificial intelligence? From SIRI and self-driving robots to self-replicating robots, artificial intelligence (AI) is progressing rapidly. While science fiction often portrays AI as robots with human-like characteristics, AI can encompass anything from Google’s search algorithms to autonomous weapons, the benefits of artificial intelligence are infinite! It’s a technology that will last forever and has impeccable growth. It’s not only engrossing but also diminishing the qualities of human being, you find it everywhere from your Google feeds to surfing on Youtube, from automatic doors to automates dummies. Rapidly it’s grounding it’s roots and becoming an integral part of our lives.
I’m guessing that if you’ve landed on this article, you have some interest in demystifying the world of artificial intelligence. You’ve probably heard about it on the news, but now you want to know more. There are more advantages of AI than we could think of but this article is specified for you to know what’s unknown and the thing where people haven’t shredded any light upon. Ever wondered about ill effects of Artificial Intelligence well you all are kept under a shelter far more many things are circulating and that no news journalists or reporters would bring at you so here I am!
What is more threatening about AI is humans are using it to feed their greed not their need we always keep wanting more in spite of having plenty.
Did Donald Trump Use Artificial Intelligence to Win the Election?
The answer might surprise you. What is unknown is the extent and success of what Trump and his team accomplished, but given the fact Trump won the election it is entirely possible because of artificial intelligence, machine learning, echo chambers, and weapon propaganda just influenced the election—not the citizens. Steve Bannon is on the board of directors of a privately held company out of London called Cambridge Analytica. They’re a data mining, analytics, and strategic communications company funded by Robert Mercer, a friend and supporter of now President Donald Trump. This company has developed strategic processes and products for automating the ability to track and analyze everyone’s social media presence, and then target and optimize advertising specifically to millions of people using machine learning to show them “news” that matches their political identity. They are then able to use the engagement data to geographically see where Trump could potentially persuade people to vote for him and persuade people not to vote for another representative. With the help of the AI technology they played a psychological trick on fellow citizens.
JAPAN; one of the leading country in almost all aspects in the World is totally automated by AI in every single thing. Their restaurants, vehicles, offices, culinary stuffs, travelling and communicating facilities in better manner is all under AI in fact I say this country is hub of all vending machines; This country works as barrier between human communication people there interact more based on AI based chatting app rather preferring a physical talk every time. This thing is shrinking human emotions and as known with the one we stay more we tend to act more like them, imagine Japanese people acting like robot so practical, so rigid because they’re habitual of them. Japanese people are close to prove this wrong that ‘human is a social animal’, human is not gonna be human itself so nullifying the animal stuff more over now its transforming into robotic kinda slave of Artificial Intelligence! I know this makes sense for you!
We agree that a superintelligent AI is unlikely to exhibit human emotions like love or hate, and that there is no reason to expect AI to become intentionally benevolent or malevolent. Instead, when considering how AI might become a risk, I think two scenarios most likely:
- The AI is programmed to do something devastating: Autonomous weapons are artificial intelligence systems that are programmed to kill. In the hands of the wrong person, these weapons could easily cause mass casualties. Moreover, an AI arms race could inadvertently lead to an AI war that also results in mass casualties. To avoid being thwarted by the enemy, these weapons would be designed to be extremely difficult to simply “turn off,” so humans could plausibly lose control of such a situation. This risk is one that’s present even with narrow AI, but grows as levels of AI intelligence and autonomy increase.
- The AI is programmed to do something beneficial, but it develops a destructive method for achieving its goal: This can happen whenever we fail to fully align the AI’s goals with ours, which is strikingly difficult. If you ask an obedient intelligent car to take you to the airport as fast as possible, it might get you there chased by helicopters and covered in vomit, doing not what you wanted but literally what you asked for. If a super-intelligent system is tasked with a ambitious geo-engineering project, it might wreak havoc with our ecosystem as a side effect, and view human attempts to stop it as a threat to be met.
As these examples illustrate, the concern about advanced AI isn’t malignance but competence. AI will be extremely good at accomplishing its goals, and if those goals aren’t aligned with ours, we have a problem. You’re probably not an evil ant-hater who steps on ants out of malice, but if you’re in charge of a hydroelectric green energy project and there’s an anthill in the region to be flooded, too bad for the ants. A key goal of AI safety research is to never place humanity in the position of those ants.
When you need something it means filling gaps or making living easier doesn’t mean you enslave yourselves with cranky humanoids. There is a list of how we are more subjected to AI. Giving you an honest talk we’re here to make bionic limbs not humanoids, we shouldn’t be making automated cars but advanced cars we should activate our creativity instead of always asking a help to them. Enhancing our abilities on the basis on intelligence using s non-biological life to the worst case scenarios with humans we are not born to be cyborgs. WITHOUT OVERSIGHT, A.I. COULD BE AN EXISTENTIAL THREAT: “WE ARE SUMMONING THE DEMON.”
