The moment you feel that you are free. Is it?

In context to the above mentioned topic do you really feel that you are free. The trouble of this nature is deep rooted in the Indian society. Patriarchy is so very much prévenant that we forget to see the root cause. Do we really want live in such times no? Recently TV actress Nia Sharma celebrated her birthday. The shape of the cake was a dick shaped cake. It’s fine right. Now cut to the chase an independent website mentioned this as अभिनेत्री की बर्थ्डे में असलील केक मंगाया गया। That is how things are. The country where in women don’t feel safe. The place where every women has to feel threatened at their home, on the roads, in their offices etc. They need to prove their worth.

A man needs a woman’s body to come on this earth. We say this that women are not weak and we still want to curtail them for there rights. Recently, a video went viral on social media where a woman in Africa was brutally raped and she was beaten by rod on her head. She died on the spot. We live in a society where we are more interested in gossips. We suppress and its fine.

Forget about the villages. They don’t feel safe in metropolitan cities too. If they wear a sports bra and go for a run people will stare as if they are seeing a chicken that is about to be cut. If they wear shorts or one piece they are subject to being stared by everyone. Do you realise how tough it is? You don’t understand.

These things will not change in one day. The problem is that people they don’t wanna change. All they want is talk about roads, airports and what not. Just look around people. It is the near end of 2020. The place where you preach about goddesses, mother mary and what not. Respect them. And don’t respect them for the fact that if you have sisters and mothers at home or not. Respect them as human beings. Let’s end these atrocities against them. It’s time they feel safe and they can do whatever they want to irrespective of being judged. They wanna be a army officer let them be. They want to sleep the entire day. Let them be.
