Carving my own path ft.Indrajeet Patil
Indrajeet Patil well known on social media platform as @champ_indra . By his humourous talent he makes us laugh everyday over Instagram reels.
Indrajeet shares his elite story with Paradox India and we would love to share with you all.
First he starts with How his life started in this world?
He says- I was born on 29th of March 1998 and maybe from that moment I was on a track. As soon as aai gave me birth, she went in coma. Aai’s friend Aruna, I call her mavshi, she is the one who took me to other ladies in the ward to feed me. She is also the one who gave me life at that moment. And that’s why I started with her. I love my aai and Aruna mavshi equally.
Mischievous, stubborn, if I decide to do something I will do that thing. I am that kinda person from childhood. Everyone loves me a lot, but my older sister loves me a lot, if god has gifted me a best friend then its her. As she started doing her first job, she gifted me a hoodie, she is the one who gave me my nickname “chiku’.
Further he shares his education/ school, college life.
He says- From 1st to 6th std I studied in Amar Jyoti School and then we shifted, completed further education in Prerna High school. I was dreaming to become an engineer so futher i took admission for diploma and completed my education.
And now the real story- After completing the education, from that moment I got the craze of making videos and all these stuff. One of my friend had his own channel on YouTube , I used to work with him. One day I asked for lead role he said “channel maza hero me” he also said making videos is not that simple how much you think, you can’t do this.
One thing got hurt, the size of that thing was the size of electrons, protons yess, that male ego was hurt and the journey started. Made a team for a channel named CREATIVE on YouTube channel and started making videos. We had a team, but the number of people who worked were 2 that’s me and Sachin. We were on our way, but then the global pandemic came (covid-19). It was lockdown and then the “ekla cholo” journey started. At first on Instagram there was not a option of reels, so when I used to post videos, people started judging, made jokes on me. I didn’t had an iPhone, I used to have MI phone, people using MI know how many times the phone gets hang. I used to shoot and edit video in that phone.
And then I met Neel and Karan known as “JUST NEEL THINGS” and “FOCUSED INDIAN”. They both taught me to make short, perfect videos, they also tech me today. And the people who used to make jokes on me now started saying, he is our brother.
I started posting continuously. People started to know me. And then my first viral video “it’s powai lake, not your oyo room”. I had 2600 followers and 1M views. One day before that video I said to my friend, that’s it I can’t see any growth tomorrow I will be posting my last video. But then my followers increased to 5000. Confidence was raised and so I decided no matter what we are not going to stop making videos. And after 2-3 months 10000 followers. So I wanted to do something that no one has done before, I posted 10 reels in one day. People gave me an exclusive response.
While shooting a video I broke my phone, that’s it I thought now it’s not gonna happen anymore. But then with the help of my Dombivali friends I started shooting and editing videos in their phone and used to post it those videos with the help of neighbors and society friends phone. This went on for 15-20 days and then I was fed up. But didn’t want to leave this passion. Also, to be honest I didn’t wanted to ask for a new phone from my papa, by looking at the lockdown condition.
One night I called Sandeep know as REALSANDEEPSHETTY and I said that tomorrow I will ask for a new phone from papa.
And the second day my college friends send me a gift, through papa’s phone I went live and unpacked the gift and it was a Samsung phone. And inside it was written “thambu nakos video banvat rha”. This joy was much more than 10000 followers. I started making videos on that phone. We say we should not see the price of a gift but this was 50000/- whose friends do that, they kept my passion alive.
Reason behind the username-
@Champ_indra, my first phone was Samsung champ, and my favourite from WWE John Cena had written on his shirt “champ is here” and I like that that’s why I gave that name.
At last champ indra say-
All these are memories and I love recalling them.
