Well, almost 95% of the people all over the world is familiar with this world famous Television series which still rules the TV channel and the OTT platform it’s being broadcasted, i.e. the Comedy Central and Comedy Central HD channels on television and Netflix, amongst the OTT platforms. This show lasted from 1994-2004, but even after 16 years of it’s winding-up, this show is always on the top trending list of Netflix. With people demanding for it’s sequel, and the star cast still giving an objection to the idea of it’s sequel, people still laugh at the jokes given in the show even after watching it a thousand times. The reason behind why the star cast think of its sequel as bad idea is that, the story of the series is originally from the lives of 6 friends in their 30’s, and giving a sequel of the show at this time when the cast has crossed that age group far beyond, it’s only going to destroy the grace and the beauty of the show. Furthermore, the cast as well as the producers wanted to end it at a graceful time period and with a perfect ending, even after a lot of controversies after the 8th season of the show. Many people know about the show, but only a few know about the present scenario of the star cast. So, here we are after gathering all the knowledge we needed about the star cast.

1. Joey Tribbiani (Matthew Steven LeBlanc)
 
           His character was a actor. He is that one kind of a person we all have in an always-living-together kind of friends group who actually does not have any idea of what’s going on. With a zero-outside knowledge, Matt’s character never forgets to make us laugh, making it the most wonderful character in the show. After the amazing success of friends, which earned him $1 million per episode as Joey, his life seemed to go downwards. Also the spin-off of friends, show joey, where Matt played the leading part, failed in 2006. About the same time, his little daughter Marina was diagnosed with cortical dysplasia, an illness which effects the brain, bones and motor skills. Following his breakup with Melissa McKnight lowered down his morale, asking his own agent to loose his number for a few years just as to avoid limelight. He is currently playing Adam burns in the CBS’s sitcom, Man with a plan.

2. Chandler Bing (Mathew Langford Perry)

           His character worked in an IT company. He is the sarcastic comedy person of a group, who loves cracking jokes in a sarcastic manner, one of Chandler’s laughing scene has become the meme sensation all over the world. Also, his character is one of the most lovable person in the series, plus “The happy one” and his relationship with Monica has always “awed” the spectators. But, in real life Chandler had got addicted to alcohols and opiates after when he had met with a jet ski accident, and that he could not recall between season 3 and season 6 of the series, which made the spectators very sad knowing that those were the seasons which established the relationship between Chandler and Monica. He also opened a rehab centre for those who wanted to get rid of alcohol addiction. With a lots of ups and downs in his carrer, he is always on the frontline to help anyone he can, especially the people who are in addiction

3. Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Valerie Kudrow)

         Her character worked as a masseuse in the morning and as a part time singer in various restaurants. Lisa Kudrow was the oldest among the other actors of the show with the age of 31, when she had started starring in the show. She made international headlines in 2015 when Taylor Swift asked her to perform Phoebe’s infamous smelly cat at a Los Angeles concert. She’s been married to Michael Stern, a French advertising executive for longer than 20 years and had a son, Julian Murray Stern in 1998. Lisa’s pregnancy became a part of the script of friends in seasons 4 and 5, when Phoebe gave birth to her brother’s triplets. The actress has been friends with Jennifer Anniston and Courtney Cox, the three of them still hang out together, whenever they get time. 4. Rachel Green (Jennifer Joanna Anniston)
 
        Her character had worked as a waitress and fashion designer at Ralph Lauren and the Bloomingdale’s. After the end of friends, her career has only been growing up, with a net worth of $200 million (as of May 2017 estimate). Contracts worth millions of dollar, star on the Hollywood walk of fame in 2012, the title of the world’s most beautiful woman in the world. She had been married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005 and then with Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2017. Despite men walking in and out of her life, one person she believes completely upon is Courtney Cox, her best friend both in the friends set and in real life as well. She has also become the godmother for Courtney’s daughter Coco.

5. Monica Geller (Courtney Bass Cox)
 
           She is the sister of Ross (daughter of Judy and Jack Geller) and wife of Chandler Bing, her character is a chef in the city of Manhattan. Her character also is a cleanliness freak, she wants every item in their original position and everything neat and tidy. She is also kind of that bossy person we all have, who always rule around their group. They had 2 adopted children, Jack and Erica. Jennifer actually auditioned for the role of Monica and Courtney auditioned for the role of Rachel, but as we know they made the right decision of switching the roles. She had been married to David Arquette from 1999 to 2013 and had one child. Her famous works include friends, scream film series and cougar town

5. Ross Geller (David Lawrence Schwimmer)

           He is the elder brother of Monica and a scientist of Palaeontologist in the museum. Since the end of friends, David had got a lot of other roles too including the voice of Melman in the famous film Madagascar. He was married to Zoe Buckman from 2010 to 2017 and had one child, cleo. In real life, David isn’t too friendly with Jenifer because the fact that she had not invited him to her wedding. In fact, he is the only person who is not in contact with any of the friends cast. His best works are friends, Madagascar film series, band of brothers, The people v. O. J. Simpson.
 
           Well, as a matter of fact people have been demanding the sequel of friends a lot and after a lot of begging from 15 years, HBO Max has finally confirmed the reunion of friends, named “The one where they got back together”. The shooting was called to a halt, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, but will start as soon as the pandemic is cleared out. A huge shoutout to the friends cast and fingers crossed for it’s success.
