Rohman Shawl has been a known face whether be it ramp or a Sabhyasachi Mukherjee poster, is has surely been everywhere! But there are some unknown facts behind the known face! Read full interview to know!

1)How was your childhood? Tell us one amusing story about your childhood.

I have had the most amazing childhood, thanks to my parents my sister, and the amazing town that I grew up in (Nainital).
Of all the amazing tales that I remember, let me tell you one that changed my life !!

I was in Class 5th, a very shy kid in a new school (Amtuls, Nainital). First PT class, in walks Mr. Lalit Sah, whose reputation preceded him !! He walked around and announced, who here wants to try for the junior Football team? At that point, I had never touched a football in my life, but I think out of sheer fear, I stood up. The next thing I know, I am on the football field wearing borrowed shoes from my neighbor.
He asked everyone to get in line and take a shot at the goal from a decent distance,

others managed to cover it, and I could bearly make the ball move.
I was so embarrassed that by the end of the trial, I had already started thinking of excuses that would help me convince my father to let me change schools !!
But sir had different plans, he came to me and said, the only thing that I want from you is sincerity, everything else I will teach you.

It’s been my life Mantra since, Be Sincere, learn you will !!

P.S. I was awarded the Best player of the School before I passed out !!

2.What was the happiest moment of your life? Why?

Right now !! I am alive and kicking!!! Issey zyada happy moment aur kya ho sakta hain !!!

3.Looking back at your life what do you think you would go back to and do differently in your life?

Life is full of Trials & errors !! I am what I am today because of it !!!! The good, the bad, the mundane & the disdain !! I own it all.

4)If you weren’t an Actor or model , what career would you like to explore?

Definitely a cricketer !! I was pretty good at it, got it from my father( he represented J&K in the Ranji trophy). I am always open to trying something new. Been writing a song for some time, and might even sing it !! Let’s see how it flows !!

5) How do you push through your worst times?

The Fact that You can only get through a situation by going through it !! “YOU is all you need’’ !!

6) Tell us one little secret that you think the world doesn’t know about you.

Ssshhhhh can’t tell na, It’s a Secret !!!

7)While looking towards journey it was not that easy for you so what was that x factor which always motivated you whenever you faced failure?

Hahahaha I actually have a Mom

factor !! My Mother in my childhood always said one thing, “Maine kisi ko tera haath dikhaya tha, usne mujhe kaha k apka beta bohot Successful hoga, iski kismat bohot achchi hai” !! Bas toh kya tha, I have been Sorted throughout my life because of her strong belief !! In a way she is the one who taught me how to Manifest. she is just amazing !!!

8) What was the project or a shoot that you enjoyed the most?

9) What do you value most and why?

My Relationship with me !!! I am a strong believer of, Pehle khud ko jaan lo, baaki sab fir khud jaan logey !!

10)What are your habits that make you successful in the industry that you are in?

First of all, the clarity that it is just work and it doesn’t define me. Second, always show up on time. Third, respect your job and others around you, they all put in equal efforts for you to grow !!

11) If you have to describe a day of Rohman’s life, what would it be?
One message to your fans and well wishers.

If Rohman isn’t working, he is totally chilling !! A lot of chess, football & spending time with my special ones. I also like to interact with people via #RohmanAsking, it has become a very important part of my life. The only fixed thing that I follow is to wake up and prepare breakfast ( anda bread, black coffee & tomato ketchup, lol )
