Bandish Bandits: The look book of tamanahh

Tamannah aka Shreya Chaudhary, who made her debut as a lead actress via Bandish Bandits (2020), has been ruling our hearts with her charm and elegance. Not just us, team Amazon Prime has also been drooling over her for quite sometime now on Instagram and she has become a style icon for many people around.

From her glittery black pop avatar to her jhumka-adorned anarkali avatar, she will take you on a roller coaster ride with all of her glimpse throughout the show and leave you head over heels in love with her. Her romantic chemistry with a shy Rajasthan-based boy, Radhe and the unique aura they will create together will make you crave for the worst or the best kind of love story so bad that you might end up recreating the whole series with your crush in your head. Her blue streaked hair in the beginning of the show will give you all the vibes of a Mumbai-based popstar and no sooner have you gotten over it, she will fill you with tempt and passion with her lavender-silk lehenga and a short romantic tension with Radha (aka Ritwik Bhowmik) in the same sequence.

Thanks to Shipra Acharya,the makeup designer of Bandish Bandits,for her wonderful ideas to portray the glamorous Tamannah at her simplest all throughout the show. She has also been the makeup department head of the recent buzzed show “Feels like ishq”. Tamannah’s character was ideally explored with natural/light make-up on while composing music with Radhe and was given the best glamourous-touch while performing in concerts. Hazel Paul, the costume designer of Bandish Bandits, has made sure that Tamannah looks lovely no matter what the occasion is. From Tamannah’s pop concert in Rajasthan to Radhe’s Sangeet Samrat Samaroh, she looks stunning everywhere.

She was seen in a magenta-coloured blouse and pineapple-yellow ghagra adorned with a white-stoned maangtika and matching cluster earrings in the poster of the show. Her pose with the guitar and confident look on her face introduces the boldness of her character, Tamannah in the series.

Her blue-streaked hair showed some similarities with Shradha Kapoor’s Batti Gul Meter Chaalu look. In fact, her smile is as enchanting as that of Shradha Kapoor!

The simplicity of her character beyond the pop world was further heightened when Tamannah was spotted in a cool dungaree while working in her studio.

Tamannah is well-versed with fashion since she’s portrayed as a successful pop star and has earned a satisfactory amount of fame in the industry. Her navy-blue and key-lime modified A line gowns sparkle her as much as the lavenderish tulle overlay denim skirt and denim corset crop top.

In her first scene, she had a powerful introduction on the stage with a shiny black bodysuit and black boots on and a smokey eye-makeup to enhance her savvy tone in the introductory song “Mastiyapa”. Contradictorily, in the last scene, she was all traditional in a Rajasthan mirror-worked anarkali with the same colour and powerful aura.

Shreya Chaudhary started her career as a model and featured in various TV commercials. She made her debut as an actor in the hindi film, ‘Dear Maya’ (2017), starring Manisha Koirala.

About her character in Bandish Bandits, she says, “Tamannah is very different from Shreya, so that was exciting”. Fans must be looking forward to Bandish Bandits season 2 but there are no official updates on the same.
