Bollywood Celebs That Are Rivals In Real Life

Bollywood, an industry of glamour has given us a number of great artists, some of them ruled over it for decades and some of them for shorter tenures but many of them found themselves abhorring and envying others, that’s where rivalries were born. We’ll talk about a few of them, the very famous or rather infamous of them.

1.Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai     

Salman and Aishwarya were a couple but then broke up and got into fight. The story begins with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie Hum dil de chuke sanam where, during the shoots Salman and Aishwarya fell in love with each other and started dating.Things went normal until Aishwarya found out relationship of Salman with Somy Ali an American bollywood actress and things started to tear apart. When Aishwarya asked for break up Salman started to torture her physically and mentally. Which led actress to file a complaint against him however instead of mitigating things it worsened, and salman started to go onto her movie sets and pick quarrels with her. In 2003 when Aishwarya was working on a movie Chalte Chalte alongside Shahrukh Khan, Salman trespassed onto the sets and made chaos which led to the departure of her from the movie. Having enough of this finally Aishwarya Rai broke all the ties with Salman Khan. However he didn’t let it go and tried to harass her for a long time he also picked quarrel with Vivek Oberoi suspecting his relations with Aishwarya. However it eventually stopped when Aishwarya married Abhishek Bacchan in 2007.

2. Juhi Chawla and Madhuri Dixit

In 90’s some bollywood actors were having prime time and were at the pinnacle of their career, Juhi Chawla and Madhuri Dixit are two of them. Both the actresses were enjoying their golden days of career but did not acknowledge each other’s talent and success neither worked togather. This is because they hated and envied each other. Though some directors tried to cool down the heat between this two, none succeeded. Yash Chopra in 1997 tried to collaborate with Juhi and Madhuri for his movie named Dil Toh Pagal Hai but could not make it since Juhi refused to work with Madhuri. This catfight between these two continued for a couple of decades and finally in 2014 director Soumik Sen pulled off the task of bringing Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla together on the sets of Gulaab Gang. Although they were reluctant to work together they eventually got along and a long rivalry between them came to an end.

3. Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif 

Friends turned foes when Deepika Padukone’s then beau, Ranbir Kapoor found his love for Katrina and suddenly moved his loyalty from Deepika to Katrina. On the sets of Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani, Ranbir and Katrina started dating, that led to Deepika and Katrina’s rivalry. And it kindled the series of replacing each other from movies where Deepika replaced Katrina in Yeh Jawani hai deewani and race 2, and Katrina replaced her in Zero. If Ranbir was the reason for their miff and lothe to each other, Ranvir became the reason for their truce. Owing to Ranvir Singh’s efforts actresses started to get along.

4. Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan

A spat between two of the biggest superstars Salman and Shahrukh was for the throne of bollywood. The two got in a brickbat on Katrina’s birthday and things got ugly when Shahrukh passed comments on Salman’s ex Aishwarya Rai which angered him to great extent. Things got worsened when the news broke out, and two remained at loggerheads for a few years. Ultimately friendship got reinstalled in 2013 during politician Baba Siddiqui’s iftaar party.
