7 Lessons to finish it off MAHI way!

If you are extremely passionate about something and have the courage to follow that passion irrespective of all the odd circumstances and obstacles laid down on your route, one day success has to come by your side. A living example of this picture is the MS Dhoni. No matter where you came from or what your background is, MSD has proved that if you have a courage and ready to take calculated risks, you will end up on the pinnacle of your life. Here are the “7” lessons to be learn from the Indias most successful cricket captain “MS Dhoni”

1. Never ever give up:

Before coming into international cricket, Mahi worked as ticket collector in Indian railways. Even after toiling hard at railway station, he never missed his cricket practice session. This enthusiasm and never give up attitude has taken him where is now. It doesn’t matter where you are going through in your life, have faith on your hardworking process and finish it off in Mahi’s way!

2. Listen to your heart:

When Mahi got the job in railways, it was his father who was overwhelmed and Mahi took that job for his father’s joy. But sooner he realised that job was not his nucleus of passion and despite of his father’s refusal, he immediately quite the job. The rest is all history we all know. Never live according to what others say, always listen to your mind!

3. Break the cage of your Comfort zone:

After getting a permanent job in railways, MS could have lived a comfortable and happy life too. But he didn’t and took a giant leap instead. He didn’t want to live a regular life, he wanted to do something extraordinary with his passion. He break his cage of comfort and went on to clear the boundary.

4. Have the attitude of learning

Throughout his journey, Mahi never stopped learning from others. Whether its learning his trademark ‘helicopter shot’ from his friend or field setup from team mates, his ears are always ready to listen to others opinions. This attitude of learning helped him taking the ‘on field’ decisions as well. Successful people are always hungry for knowledge, it doesn’t matter where they are learning, they will never stop.

5. Stay calm and composed in complex a situation

We all know his serenity level. His calmness helps him focus on the current situation and improve the chances of better execution of his decision. Being cool and calm has been his funda throughout his career. When you are calm and neutral, you can handle the things more easily and effectively.

6. Take risks and believe in your capability

Why Mahi is recognized as a best finisher, a spectacular wicket keeper, best captain? Just go through his matches and take a follow up, you’ll noticed that 10 out 4-5 times he failed. But in remaining 5-6 time, he clinched that milestones. He never try to end up a match early, instead he took it as deep and closer as he can because he knows his strengths, even if team need 35 runs in last 2 overs, he only concedes 10 runs from one over and put 25 for the last and finish it off in his style. He might fail, actually he did for several times but he never moved back from taking that risk. Not only in his batting but all the role that he’s been playing. This is the reason why he’s the most spectacular behind the stumps also. Accept the failure, learn from them and execute better than earlier.

7. Never forget your roots

Even after earning so much of respect, love, fame, money, MS is still a grounded person. He still uses his old bike to roam in Ranchi. His friends helped and supported him alot than his family to pursue his Cricket passion. He’s always there for him and connected even after becoming a star. Being a modest and grounded person, Mahi reflects himself more shiny and radiant!

Being a huge MSD fan, devotee actually, want to share some lines for him:

With a long hairs and big dreams, once been a small town guy,

Made all odds into his favour, saying failure bye-bye!

Long live his ambition, long live his calm,

Staying forever in the heart of millions, Thala has his own charm!
